A step-by-step guide from signup to first matter.

Create your organisation

Invite your team
Send email invitations to colleagues. Each person signs in with Google and accepts the invite. They’re added to your firm automatically.
Add billing details
Connect your firm’s billing details. Usage is metered post-paid: you pay only for the AI work you actually do, billed monthly via Stripe. No subscription. No per-seat fees. No minimum.
Create your first matter
Create a matter, set the jurisdiction and forum. Upload your client’s documents. Serverity starts analysing immediately.
Add your first client
Go to Client CRM → Contacts → Add Contact. Enter your client’s details, referral source, and fee arrangement. Link them to the matter.
Share with your team
Set matter visibility to ‘Shared’ so colleagues can view or collaborate. Each matter has individual privacy controls.
Generate your first bundle
Open the matter → Procedure → Bundle. Choose a template that matches your court. Add documents to sections. Click Assemble. A paginated, indexed hearing bundle ready for your review in minutes.
Frequently asked questions
- Can different team members see different matters?
- Yes. Each matter has a visibility setting: private, view-only, or editable. You control this per matter.
- Who manages billing?
- The firm is billed as a single account. Usage is metered across the whole team and aggregated into one monthly Stripe invoice with VAT. The organisation page shows real-time usage by user, matter and module so partners can see exactly where the spend is going.
- Can I add a trainee or paralegal?
- Yes. Invite them by email and assign them as a Member. There are no per-seat fees: the firm pays only for the AI work the team actually runs, metered monthly.
- What happens if someone leaves?
- Remove them from Settings → Team. Their access is revoked immediately. Because billing is metered (not per-seat), there is no seat to remove from the invoice. Shared matters remain with the firm.
